These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website of the 19th International GASi Symposium, Athens 2026. By using this website or submitting any registration, abstract, or application form, you agree to these Terms.
1. Registration
Registration is subject to the fees, deadlines, and conditions published on the website.
Participation is confirmed only after successful payment or confirmation of an approved alternative payment method.
2. Abstract Submission
Submitting an abstract does not guarantee acceptance.
All abstracts are reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to the Symposium's review process.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted work is original and that they have the necessary rights to submit it.
Acceptance of an abstract may require at least one author to complete registration within the published deadlines.
3. Payments
All online payments are securely processed by Stripe.
Registration fees are displayed in Euro (€). Electronic invoices and receipts are provided where applicable.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Refund requests are handled in accordance with the cancellation policy published on the Registration page of the website.
Where permitted, payment processing fees may be deducted from refunded amounts.
5. Programme Changes
The organisers reserve the right to:
- Modify the scientific programme
- Change speakers or presenters
- Alter session times
- Substitute venues
- Cancel sessions where necessary
Reasonable efforts will be made to notify participants of significant changes.
6. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully throughout the Symposium.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse participation or remove individuals whose behaviour seriously disrupts the event or compromises the safety, wellbeing, or enjoyment of others.
7. Intellectual Property
Authors retain the copyright to their submitted work.
By submitting an abstract, authors grant the organisers a non-exclusive right to publish accepted abstracts and related author information in the Symposium programme, abstract book, website, mobile application, and other official conference materials.
8. Photography and Recording
Photographs, video recordings, and audio recordings may be taken during the Symposium for documentation, educational, archival, and promotional purposes.
Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional materials should notify the Organising Committee before or during the event, and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate such requests.
9. Website Use
Users agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Attempt unauthorised access to the website or its systems
- Upload malicious software or harmful content
- Interfere with the security or operation of the website
10. Limitation of Liability
The organisers are not liable for interruptions, delays, technical failures, internet outages, or circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
11. Force Majeure
The organisers shall not be liable for cancellation, postponement, modification, or interruption of the Symposium resulting from events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, strikes, civil unrest, war, or failures of utilities or communication systems.

Personal information submitted through this website is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws governing the organisation of the Symposium. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the organising body.
